Founded in 2006 and re-established in 2016, the Pan Pontian Youth Association of USA & Canada is dedicated to uniting and empowering Pontian Greek youth between the ages of 18 and 35. As the official youth body of the Pan-Pontian Federation, our mission is to preserve, promote, and celebrate the rich history, culture, language, and traditions of Pontian Hellenism.
Through cultural events, education initiatives, community outreach, and digital engagement, we work to strengthen the identity of Pontian youth across North America and around the world. Our programs focus on preserving and sharing traditional dance, music, and folklore, as well as offering Pontian Greek language instruction in collaboration with the Pontian Federation and the Holy Institution Panagia Soumela of New Jersey.
The Pan Pontian Youth Association is deeply committed to educating others and raising global awareness about the Greek Genocide. Through educational programs, commemorative events, and community advocacy, we honor the legacy of our ancestors and work to bring attention to this often-overlooked tragedy. Each year, May 19th stands as a solemn day of remembrance and reflection — a time to ensure the suffering of our people is not forgotten and to inspire future generations to continue the pursuit of truth, recognition, and justice.
Our work culminates each June with our flagship Youth Festival: a weekend-long celebration hosted in partnership with one of the Federation’s member societies, where we gather to reconnect, reflect, and renew our commitment to our heritage.
