OUR MISSION
The mission of the Pan-Pontian Federation of USA and Canada is to preserve, promote, and pass down the enduring legacy of Pontian Hellenism. In close collaboration with its member associations, the Federation is dedicated to safeguarding and revitalizing the rich cultural heritage, language, history, and values that define the Pontian Greek identity.
We are committed to developing and supporting educational, historical, cultural, religious, social, and humanitarian programs that foster a deep understanding and appreciation of Pontian traditions among current and future generations. Through cultural events, community outreach, and educational initiatives, we aim to strengthen the bonds of our diaspora and ensure that Pontian heritage remains a vibrant and integral part of the broader Hellenic identity.
A central pillar of our mission is the recognition and remembrance of the Greek Genocide. We serve as a leading voice in raising awareness about the atrocities committed against the Greeks of Pontos, Asia Minor and Thrace during the early 20th century. Through advocacy, scholarship, and public engagement, we seek official recognition, historical accountability, and the global education necessary to honor the memory of our ancestors and prevent such tragedies from ever recurring.
Rooted in resilience, unity, and cultural pride, the Pan-Pontian Federation of USA and Canada stands as a beacon for the preservation and promotion of Pontian Hellenism across North America and
beyond.
